The Fall Festival took place last Friday, bringing together students, alumni and families for a day packed with activities. In just two hours, Key Club raised approximately $3,500 for the school.
Highlights included the Haunted Hallway, family-friendly games like cornhole, chess, basketball, soccer, and tug-of-war, as well as a cafeteria with food options.
Festival Goers could also participate in a $3 “pie a teacher” activity, a scavenger hunt, Halloween face painting and balloon animal creations. The event fostered community spirit, with current and former students reconnecting with friends and past teachers. Teachers enjoyed watching students participate and engaging in the festivities.
Mr. Cooper and Mr. Ahmic were among the teachers pied by enthusiastic students, creating plenty of laughs. Mr. Golden’s chess booth was heavily advertised and drew significant interest, while Dr. D's soccer station on the field saw a large turnout, with him even joining in the game. In the gym, students played basketball with friends, enjoying the out-of-class environment.
In the spirit of fun, students later collected shaving cream from teachers to “pie” their friends, adding to the lively atmosphere. The tug-of-war competition was intense, with student Mason going undefeated. The Haunted Hallway delivered on scares, with some young attendees left spooked.
