Cristiano Ronaldo has reached 900 goals. It took him 22 years of hard work and performance. He is considered one of the best football players in the world. He holds many football world records. He has scored his 900th against Croatia in the Nations League.
Cristiano Ronaldo played his first ever game on August 14, 2002 for Sporting Lisbon. He was 17 years old. He was playing against Inter Milan, he came on in the 58th minute. He scored his first and second goal against Moreirense in the Liga Portugal. In the first year of his career, he showed lots of potential, scoring 5 goals. In the summer of 2003, Ronaldo signed a contract with Manchester United, England. He was 18 years old on his first game for Manchester United. He came on as a substitute in the 60th minute. This was just the start. In his 6 years at Manchester United he scored 145 goals showing he is a great player. Along with that he won 1 Champions League trophy, 1 Ballon d’or, 3 Premier Leagues, 2 FA cups, and 1 Community Shield. He was then signed by the greatest football club of all time.
Real Madrid, the greatest team of all time. Ronaldo had his first game for Real Madrid on the 29th of August 2009. He was 24 years old. He scored in his first game. He had his prime with Real Madrid. When he played for Real Madrid he won 4 champions leagues and 4 Ballon d’or. In 2017 Real Madrid was considered the greatest combination of players in history. He had scored 450 goals in 438 games. Ronaldo was the main man of the team that conquered Europe. After 9 years of greatness Ronaldo left to go to Italy.
Juventus, Italy was lucky enough to be able to sign Ronaldo. They had to pay €112 million to get him from Real Madrid. Juventus had been the best team in Italy for 11 years, getting Ronaldo added to their talented squad. His first game was August 18, 2018. Over the 3 years he played for Juventus, he won 2 Serie A titles and 2 super cups. Then he went back to the club where his career took off.
In 2021, Ronaldo returned to Manchester United. He scored 2 goals on his second Manchester United debut. He was welcomed back like a king when he arrived in Manchester. The coach of Manchester United was Ole Gunnar. He liked Ronaldo, and would give him playing time. Yet when Ole left, Erik Ten Hag took his place. Erik disliked Ronaldo, and he kept him on the bench. This made Ronaldo leave Manchester United. He had scored 27 goals in his second stint at Manchester United. He then left to go to Saudi Arabia.
Cristiano Ronaldo shocked the world with his transfer to Al Nassr, Saudi. This transfer was unique as there was never such a great player in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo is still currently at Al Nassr, so far he has scored a total of 67 goals and he has been top scorer in the league.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s national team was Portugal. Over the 22 years of his career he scored a total of 132 goals. He also helped them win the Euros in 2016 and the Nations League in 2019. Just last week Ronaldo scored his 900th career goal while playing for portugal. His journey was long and great.
